Frequently Asked Questions
-
tranquillo is best suited for adults who value thoughtful, unhurried care, and want time to talk through concerns that often feel rushed in traditional healthcare settings. Many of our patients are navigating sleep issues, mood changes, hormonal changes, stress, or metabolic concerns and are looking for a calm, individualized approach.
-
Many primary care concerns can be addressed effectively through telehealth, particularly those that benefit from conversation, evaluation, and care planning.
Commonly addressed concerns include:
· Sleep difficulties (falling asleep, staying asleep, early waking)
· Mood changes, anxiety, irritability, or feeling “off”
· Perimenopause and menopause concerns
· Contraception counseling
· Metabolic health and weight concerns
· Medication reviews
· Lab review and preventative care planning
If an in-person exam, procedure, or urgent evaluation is needed, we will discuss that openly and help guide next steps.
-
Visits at tranquillo are intentionally longer and unrushed. This allows time to understand context, review history thoughtfully, discuss options clearly, and create individualized care plans. The focus is on quality, continuity, and clarity, rather than volume.
-
Yes. We offer a complimentary 10-15 minute care-fit call for patients who would like to ask questions and determine whether our approach is right for them.
This call is designed to discuss goals for care, confirm whether telehealth is appropriate, and answer questions about our care model. Medical advice, diagnosis, and treatment are only provided during scheduled visits and will not be discussed in this brief format.
-
tranquillo is solely a self-pay practice and does not bill insurance. This allows us to spend more time with patients, offer transparent pricing, and avoid the constraints that often come with insurance-based care.
You may choose to submit receipts to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your plan.
